About me
I’m interested in different fields of design, such as the ideation and embodiment phases. Besides, I prefer human centered design and focusing on the needs of the people I’m creating a product for. Furthermore I have a passion to design for children. Within this field I'm interested in designing for both play and education, which can be perfectly combined in my opinion.
Next to my interests already mentioned I’m especially passionate about design for sustainability. With my dream to become a product designer lays also the responsibility to redesign for current world problems, for me personally sustainability being the most important one. I would prefer to improve already existing products and making them more durable or inclusive instead of producing more and more products into the world.
My background
Hi I’m Roosje, an industrial product designer. I started my design career by doing the Bachelors Industrial Design Engineering and I have just finished the Masters Integrated Product Design, both at TU Delft. During this period I also studied abroad in France, where I followed the minor product design at L'école de Design Nantes Antlantique and I did an internship for HEMA design department in Amsterdam. I have learnt a lot about my own interests and strengths within product design and am now excited to pursue my career outside of studying.
